In April 2010, Millennium Hotels and Resorts is launching a new website dedicated to the Chinese marketplace, millenniumhotels.com.cn.

In addition to hotel products information, the website will have three key functions. "Latest Promotions" will provide updates on the latest China regional joint promotions and individual promotions from individual hotels. "City Special Events" will show events and activities information covering the current year for the city where the hotel is located. And "Places of Interest", will cover the most well-known scenic spots and attractions in the city where the hotel is located. A search bar on the home page will enable users of the site to view information specific to their travel dates, destination city, and particular interests.

The Singapore-based group currently runs six hotels spread across China in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuxi, Xiamen, and Qingdao. The groups flagship hotel in China, Grand Millennium Beijing, received its official five-star rating award on 31 March, 2010, following comprehensive auditing and evaluation by China‘s national star-rating committee.
