What's Hot in Xiamen

A new flight route numbered MF805, from Xiamen to Vancouver, was launched on July 25th.

The flights will be served by Boeing 787-8s, which will offer four first-class seats, 18 business-class seats, and 214 economy-class seats. The flights departing from Xiamen will take off at 9:30 p.m. (local time) every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, with a flight time of 12 hours and 10 minutes.

Flights departing from Vancouver will take off at 1:45 a.m. (local time) every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. 

The new route is one of five international routes launched by Xiamen Airlines, including the Xiamen-Amsterdan route (July 26th, 2015), the Fuzhou-Sydney route, the Xiamen-Sydney route (December 2015), and the Xiamen-Melbourne route (June 30th, 2016).

Another new route, flying from Xiamen to Shenzhen to Seattle, will be numbered MR845,  and will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. That route will open on September 26th.

Xiamen Airlines will also open a Fuzhou-New York route next January to expand the airline's network.
